Strange Weather In Tokyo

Very gentle story with poetic writing.

Probably a 3.5 rather than a 3 - definitely the happiest and most pleasant book I’ve read in a long time! I really appreciated the story and especially the amazing descriptions of food, eating and drinking (so much alcohol!). I think the characters themselves were somewhat light, although I feel this was intentional stylistically? I just wanted it to go deeper than it actually did, although some of the moments describing being alone were really beautiful
