this is essentially a very astutely written and neat essay about the state of antiracism in the UK, in the context of recent racialised violence alongside/through pandemic. Feels stupid to give a rating - I think this would be a 5 if I hadn't already engaged with a lot of the material, but it's a 4 just because it didn't necessarily bring anything new to my understanding of the current forms of not-really-antiracist-allyship... but I'm not the main target readership! It consolidates things very well and had some particularly pertinent reminders towards the end. Essentially, rather than it being in any way not great, I just want more! I really like how Uwagba writes and want to read more!!!
