"Anarchism asserts the possibility of an organization without discipline, fear, or punishment, and without the pressure of poverty: a new social organism which will make an end to the terrible struggle for the means of existence,--the savage struggle which undermines the finest qualities in man, and ever widens the social abyss. In short, Anarchism strives towards a social organization which will establish well-being for all." - Emma Goldman Please Note: This book has been reformatted to be easy to read in true text, not scanned images that can sometimes be difficult to decipher. Review of 'Anarchism and other essays' on 'Storygraph'

Ms Goldman’s third eye was WIDE open. It’s genuinely quite amazing / distressing how many of these essays hit home in a sadly too pertinent way today. My faves: ‘Anarchism: What it really stands for’, ‘The Hypocrisy of Puritanism’, ‘The Tragedy of Woman’s Emancipation’ and ‘Marriage and Love’.
