what's so great about Lola's book is that it sets out some of the main tensions within current feminist discourse but refuses to play out some sort of liberal 'both sides' fantasy. This is a feminism which does not treat lives as disposable, and doesn't ignore material analysis. Really excellent and I will send it to everyone I know.
